Saturday, September 11, 2010 the Seneca East Public Library Foundation will hold its 12th annual Reverse Raffle, dinner, and auction. The event will be held in the Entertainment Building at the Attica Fairgrounds. We will be serving dinner from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM - Doors open at 5:30 PM. A $30 donation gets you two meals (choose from BBQ chicken or pork chops by the Attica Lions Club) and one entry into the raffle. See a Foundation member or visit the library to purchase your ticket. Need not be present to win!

Fall Story Time

Fall 2010 Story Time is Coming!

All Story Times last for 45-60 minutes. They are open for almost 3 year olds-Kindergarten and no registration is needed! Each session includes songs, flannel graphs, a take-home craft and of course GOOD BOOKS! New kids are always welcome, so bring a book bag and join the fun!

We have three great Story Time options for you! Starting October 5th we will have Story Time every Tuesday at 1:30PM and every Wednesday at 6:30PM at the library. If you can't catch us at the library then join us at Seneca East Elementary where we have Story Time every other Thursday starting October 7th!

Friday, June 25th we kicked off our Summer Reading Program at Garlo Park in Bloomville. Over 50 people came out for a refreshing nature hike, a fun craft, and water games! Tuesday, May 11th the Seneca East Public Library hosted a Preschool Puppet Show featuring Joyce Davis of Toledo. This was Joyce's nineteenth year entertaining us! Ms. Davis is an international puppeteer and keynote speaker. She travels with her puppets across the USA as well as Europe, Peru, and more.

Love My Library Afterschool Workshop

"Love My Library!" Afterschool Workshop

On Thursday, April 15th 58 students in grades K-6 helped the Seneca East Public Library celebrate National Library Week with our "Love My Library!" after school workshop. When kids first arrived we took a snapshot of them in front of the library with signs reading "We Love Our Library!" Then we split into three stations. Donate Your Used Ink Cartridges to the Library

We will recycle your used ink cartridges for you!  The library receives $3 of credit to Staples for each cartridge turned in.  You can turn your empty cartridges in at the front desk or simply wrap them in a plastic bag and drop them in the book drop.  We appreciate your continued support.
