February is National Children’s Dental Health Month and to celebrate the Seneca East Public Library held a “Tooth Day Celebration” on Thursday, February 18th. 47 students in grades K-6 attended the workshop. Dental Hygienist, Angel Cassaro, joined us for a demonstration on dental health and a discussion on careers in the dental field. Participants mixed up some homemade toothpaste and made a toothy photo frame to take home. Everyone also received a set of 
wind-up chomping teeth, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. Door prizes were awarded and everyone got a cookie to take home (as long as they promised to brush right after eating it!)
