Gingerbread Family Night 2009

Fifty-three gingerbread houses walked out of the Seneca East Public Library last Thursday, leaving a trail of icing and gumdrops behind. December 17th we held our “back by popular demand!” Gingerbread House Family Night Workshop and it was sensational! We provided the icing and a cardboard base and the families brought candy and graham crackers to decorate their houses. Holiday music played as kids and parents alike adorned their miniature sugar-coated dwellings. Santa himself couldn’t have done a better job! A picture was taken of each child with their house. A copy will be emailed to the family or can be picked up at the library. Thanks to everyone who donated their time, money, candy, or icing to make this year another success!
